IMPORTANT: Sad News

Dear Friends,
As some of you may be aware, a terrible thing has happened to 9th&Bloom today. The designers and co-owner, Lizzy, were victims of fraud. Our store is closing immediately. I don't know where I will be selling designs in the future, but I will be designing and selling!

Please take a moment to read this official statement from Lizzy.

"Dear friends, as many of you are aware, today we at 9th&Bloom encountered a problem processing our Paypal payments. I contacted Paypal to sort out the discrepancy and discovered that unbeknowst to me and to our amazing designers, the shop and its paypal account were not set up as they should be. The shop never acquired its own Taxpayer Identification Number from the Internal Revenue Service. Since having such a number is a requirement for the Paypal account that the shop uses, Paypal has frozen our account and we are unable to process payments. Prior to this point in time all of our Paypal interactions were handled by another owner who failed to inform me of any issues regarding the account.

Because we cannot operate as a shop without a Paypal account, we must say goodbye to 9th&Bloom; however, as always our amazing staff of creative people, layout artists and designers alike are united and hard at work to reopen a new store with the same wonderful buzz of community and creativity. We look forward to our new adventure with a great sense of renewal and anticipation and hope that you will continue to be a part of our amazing community."

Before I get started here today. I wanted to wish my amazing, wonderful, handsome husband Emmett a HAPPY 11th ANNIVERSARY! I love you Hubby! {{{HUGS & KISSES}}}.

I can't believe that it's Friday... AGAIN! The time always seems to go so much faster for me when it starts getting cold outside. I live in Eastern Canada so it's Autumn for me now and I LOVE IT!!! Autumn is my favorite season. I love how it's cold enough to wear a jacket or warm sweater but not cold enough to have to wear a snowsuit! lol. I absolutely adore how beautiful everything starts to look as the leaves turn color and the evening sunsets get brighter. I live right on the ocean so I get lots of breathtaking sunsets. Here's a pic of one from about 2 weeks ago that was taken from my living room window. BEAUTIFUL!!!

I consider myself a very lucky lady to be able to look out my window and see nature at it's most beautiful. It amazes me that I can sit on my cozy couch, have a cup of tea and watch whales jumping in the bay! Yes... I can watch whales from my window! :) I've got to get some pics of that soon!

As we all know, once Autumn get's here, Halloween isn't far behind. I've got some of my "stuff" ready to get the house and yard decorated for the Trick-or-Treaters. I've got plans on transforming the front porch into a haunted house of sorts. It's gonna look amazing when it's all done. I've got the kids costumes all ready too. Emma is going to be a witch and Aiden is going to be a Ninja. They picked out their costumes when we were shopping last week. I have to check this week for a wig for Emma though. I hope to find one that's got black or purple hair. And, I've already got 2 of the most amazing kits from 9th & Bloom picked out to use for scrapping our Halloween pics this year! The first is Wicked from Amy Stoffel and the second is The Witching Hour from Secret Stash. Both awesome kits! You should totally check them out!

NEW RELEASE FRIDAY... Plus a monsterriffic BLOG TRAIN!

Happy Friday! I hope that you've all been enjoying your week and are about to have an amazing weekend! It's been a super crazy week for me and my family. Last Friday, my Hubby fell down and did some serious damage to his hand. We had to rush to the hospital to get the hand sewn up. The damage was so bad that he had to have reconstructive surgery on Wednesday. The surgery went well and he's taking it easy. He's got to wear a cast for 2 weeks until he goes back to the Dr. to get it checked out. It seriously limits what he can do. He has no movement in the hand and can't do much. I have to do everything for the next few weeks. :( And for any of you who know my Hubby, you know that he does just as much around here as i do. So, i'm left with a lot more to do. I can't wait until his hand heals up. lol.

I've gotta say just how much i'm loving my new home at 9th & Bloom! It's amazing place and I'm getting the chance to work with some of my favorite designers. I'm in digi-heaven!
