LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL: New Buffet Items

I have been so busy trying to get everything together for the kids to get back to school this week! I can't believe that my little guy is about to head off to Kindergarten and my little princess is going to grade 1! Emma picked out the cutest backpack with matching pencil case and lunch bag and once Aiden had seen it... he wanted one like it too but in blue! It was just perfect for me too because they we're only $8.88 each at Walmart! That's an amazing deal considering if I had bought them the sets they had originally wanted, it would have cost about $35 each! I had a lot of supplies left from a great sale last year, so I didn't have to buy much for them. It only cost about $25 each! BONUS!!! My parents bought them new shoes for wearing in school and I picked up new back to school clothes for them both. Now, we're all set to get on that bus in a few days!

I am sooooooo looking forward to having those few hours alone in the morning after they're gone to school! I've got big plans to get ahead on some designing and to finish up some quilts I've been working on. I'm making one for Emma's bed and one for Aiden's too. Then, I have to move onto making new Christmas stockings for the family! I saw a cute Pin on Pinterest using old sweaters and jackets to make them and I've got just the perfect ones to use! When I get them done, I'll have to post some pics!
